Dropping Down On One Knee At A Unique Jewelry Store |

In past generations couples were more likely to get hitched in their twenties. My mom was married by the time she was twenty two. That boggles my mind. She justifies it by saying that is just what people did when they were in love back then. My generation is a bit more hesitant to tie the knot. That is somewhat of a blanket statement but for the most part in personal experience only a few people I know have gotten married in their twenties who were born part of Generation Y. Why is this? That is debatable. We live longer, more people are scared of divorce, there is less pressure from society to get married young, countless movies talk about marriage being the pits—the list goes on. Those reasons don’t sway some young couples from getting married though.
My first buddy to buy a diamond ring at a unique jewelry store did so after getting out of the military. That makes sense. Veterans grow up fast and have a better understanding for how fragile life is. My next friend got married in Vegas shotgun style. He is a hard guy to get along with and realized this. Once he found a girl who could handle him, he too visited a unique jewelry store and bought the ring. Now I have a friend who is weighing the pluses and minuses of tying the knot before the end of the year. He’s been with his girl for about six years now. In his direct words, “It is time to **** or get off the pot.” He isn’t the type who enjoys single life. He forwarded me a link from Ro-Bear Connection at http://www.ro-bearconnection.com/ who sells unique jewelry in the form of white gold bracelets, rings, necklaces and pendants.
This email came after he called to see what I thought about getting married. After the call, he sent the unique jewelry link featuring the 14K White Gold and Round Brilliant Cut & Baguette Diamond Bridal Set you see above. It looks pretty baller if you ask me. He obviously loves his girlfriend. They have been together forever and even have a dog. That is said to be the first step before kids. He works in a small town, only hangs out with her outside of work and is ready. I told him to go with his gut. I gave him the thumbs up on both the rings and unique jewelry store. People say you’re supposed to spend three months’ salary on an engagement ring. That is just make believe for people who don’t like to save money.
