This morning my boss called me into his office and said that he needed to ask me a favor. I was all ears and figured it was something work related but instead he wanted me to help him find a gold bracelet for his wife for their upcoming anniversary at the end of the month. He said that his wife loves unique jewelry, but of course I knew this because I’ve been working for the company for ten years and have been his assistant the entire time. It has allowed me to get to know his wife and I think that’s why he entrusted me to find a gold bracelet for her. I assured him that he had nothing to worry about. He gave me a budget and off I went to search online for unique jewelry. I came across three items that I really knew she’d love and sent him the link to all three so he could choose. He sent me a response a little while ago letting me know which gold bracelet he wanted and I ordered it. It was that simple. He thanked me and said he’d make it worth my while. I smell a bonus in my near future.
